This slasher movie surprised me. It's better than SCREAM and I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER, which in truth isn't saying all that much. But most of the characters are so irritating and mean-spirited that you look forward to them being killed off. The movie hooks you and keeps you guessing until the end who the killer really is. A young geeky boy is taunted at a sixth grade Valentine's Day dance after asking a group of popular girls to dance with him and is sent to reform school for allegedly attacking one of them. She lied. Eighteen years later we catch up with the women, who are all knock-outs. And as it nears Valentine's Day they all receive these really creepy Cards. One by one the women are killed off, presumably by this kid who they traumatized. Sure, the film isn't all that original but it is an entertaining way to spend 90 minutes.
