A mercenary is hired by the French Secret Service after two incidents happen: a brutal attack to a Nasa base and a CIA operative found floating in a river in Paris, his throat ripped out. The Secret Service thinks there's a connection. It turns out that a young woman named Lamia Vindlaw is the focus of event, with both the CIA and a cult of vampires interested in her. She has a blood type that is not human--and she and the vampires, who have been on Earth for thousands of years, are aliens.
