This is one of the better Voodoo movies I've seen. And Michael Madsen, who seems to drift through about thirty direct to video movies a year, is great in this role. He portrays an inmate who learns how to use voodoo from his jailmate--and uses this power to gain revenge on the policeman who killed his brother. The policeman's son gets involved with Madsen's hooker/girlfriend, Rosanna Arquette, and things get complicated.
