This is Lucio Fulci's (ZOMBIE) film version of the Jack London novel. The movie is primarily about corruptness in a small Alaskan town during the gold rush there, with a newspaper reporter and his friend involved in the clash. There's also an American Indian and his son who adopt White Fang-though the corrupt town official kills the indian when he doesn't want to sell his dog to fight in the dog fights, which they regularly have. This is supposed to be in Alaska but I think it was shot in the Alps or something-it just doesn't look right. And White Fang, who is supposed to be a half wolf/half husky is portrayed here by a German Shepard-and it just doesn't work. There are some of those Lucio Fulci bloody moments, though, with the dog ripping out a person's throat and a woman fatally banging her head into the corner of a table. It's not one of Fulci's best but if your curious it's worth a look.
