A man (Nathan Fillion) witnesses his wife and son shot by an insane man, then tries to kill himself by drinking and pills. He's revived and now has the ability to see through the "White Noise" because of his NDE (Near Death Experience). In fact, he's also able to see an ethereal light around people who are going to die. He has the idea of saving them but this goes horribly awry when a complication comes up, which is tied to the slaughter of his family. It's a grim movie, as good if not better than the original, though I thought all those special effects at the end were too much and essentially needless. Directed by Patrick Lussier, who directed DRACULA 2000 and it's two sequels. » Search Database for White Noise 2 (2008) Seen it?
