An architect (played by Michael Keaton) and his desire to speak with his wife from beyond the grave, becomes an obsession with supernatural repercussions. His wife died under mysterious circumstances and he is approached by a man who says he is receiving contact from her from beyond the grave. Reluctantly, he agrees to listen and believes that he hears his wife sending him messages from the other side. He begins to receive messages from her of his own that he must decipher and use before it is too late. This was a weird, but interesting film. The acting was top notch.. with Michael Keaton leading the pack. The sound and visual effects of the apparitions from beyond were well done and kindof creepy. From what I heard about this film before seeing it... people were saying it was a rip-off of Poltergeist. After watching it.. I just do not see the correlation.. other than the obvious voices from the other side. I thought this was a pretty original film that was well done. It was left open at the end for a sequel... so I will be interested to see what they do with that. Check this one out!
