It's good to see an all-out monster movie for a change. There's flesh-eating zombies, vampires and even a ghost. Two grave robbers (one of them Ron Jeremy) dig up the coffin of an 1800's cult leader and steal a supernaturally powered medallion he is wearing. But the dead guy awakens, opening these yellow eyes, and manages to take a bite out of the younger grave robber with his Nosferatu-like fangs. They get away from him but almost immediately the dead from the graveyard start to dig their way out and pursue them.As this is happening there is a group of college kids who have driven up to this old haunted house to party on the weekend, as it's the location for a low-budget horror movie (with cheesy horror props spread throughout it). The movie is not filming so they have the place all to themselves, or so they think...The grave robbers soon appear at the house, which is not too far away from the graveyard. The nasty looking zombies have followed them and the humans must lock all the doors so they can't get in. We learn that the house they are in is also haunted, and one of the women is taken over by a murdered wife who lived there years before, though the others are not aware of this. The grave robber who was bit by the vampire cult leader becomes sick and is presumably transforming...This movie is almost a remake of the 70's cult movie CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS, as it has all the major plot points of that movie. The make up effects in it are decent, the editing fast-paced and the movie entertaining. From Maverick Entertainment.
