Wizards is a cool animated film from Ralph Bakshi concerning the struggles between magic and technology. It's at times dark and violent, other times it's silly and fun. There's plenty of cool characters and funny scenes throughout the film. Though it's a 'cartoon', this movie does have some deeper under lying meanings and you can only look it at these days with a grimace as our world becomes more and more technologically oriented. The war scenes are especially meaningful. This is definitely for adults, as I don't think many kids would understand this movie at all. The ending is really strange and comes as a big surprise considering the film's whole premise. If you dig Bakshi's other films, I don't see how you couldn't like this one. This movie will make you think, perhaps about things you don't want to think about or remember.
