Well, as origin stories go this is okay, though the story line is pretty much a re-hash of a Wonder Woman story that was featured in the animated JLA Unlimited series a few years ago. However, it does give insight to the relationship between Ares and the Amazons and does show how Princess Diana (voice of Keri Russell) was created from a clump of mud.
When Ares escapes his prison from the island, Diana is chosen to go into "Man's world" to hunt him down. She's also returning Colonel Steve Trever (voice of Nathan Fillion) to New York City--and together they end up tracking down the rogue Greek God.
The best thing about this movie is the banter between the two characters, which is hilarious, such as Trevor referring to her birthplace as "Chastity Belt Island".
I found WONDER WOMAN more entertaining than the recent Marvel animated features
