On an Applachian bike trail two bicyclers get killed by the mutant hillbillies after they have sex. Then, we’re introduced to yet another car full of
twenty-something adults. One of them, Danny, has inherited a hotel and another has a video camera and is recording everything for Youtube (of course). There
are two caretakers--Sally and Jackson--and it turns out they are not only lovers but brother and sister. They control the three deformed mutants who lurk
about because they are the other members of their family. Danny begins to like this place. He even kills a weird-looking deer in the nearby woods.
Meanwhile, his friends are killed off, one by one, by the mutants. Eventually his cousins introduce him to the other locals, his family, who live deep in the
woods. They need him for new blood so their bloodline won’t die out--and he’s more than willing to oblige.
This is an okay installment of the WRONG TURN franchise. It adds a few new elements to the overall story and opens it up for the next one.
