This "Season Six" comic of the television show ANGEL has too much going on to be all that entertaining. It's like walking in on an action movie halfway through. Los Angeles has been sucked into a Hell dimension, Wesley has come back as an incorporeal spirit, Gun has turned into a vampire and Angel is....human. This makes it difficult because there's all these demons who want him dead. Of course, all his friends help defend him and we're introduced to all the others, which include Lorne and Angel's son Connor. Groosalugg also shows up in issue #4.
Granted, you can do things in a comic that would be far too expensive to do in a TV series, and it's good they are taking advantage of the medium. But it doesn't compare to the "Season Eight" series BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER comic from Dark Horse Comics.
