It's six months after the events from BACK TO THE FUTURE III and Marty McFly is...bored. He longs for the excitement and adventure that time travel provided, which is beginning to grate on his girlfriend Jennifer. When Marty shows her Doc's hidden lab, they come across an intruder caught in a net-and it's Doc Brown, who is dressed in an old diving suit and is missing his memories. Marty needs to find out what version of Doc this is-from the 50's or the one he was in the Old West with. When he gets a hundred year old letter delivered to him and sees it's a message from Clara, he gets his answer-and together he and Jennifer have to reunite him with his family. As with the first graphic novel (which collects issues 1-6 of the series), this fits in very well with all of the events and situations from the three movies. It adds to the story in a good way. We also find out how Doc Brown was able to make a time-traveling train and also what happened to the future Biff of 2016, when they travel to 2031. Highly recommended-this is a fun read.
