On the opening page an older Buck Rogers is in space, surrounded by bright green giant amoeba looking aliens from Saturn who are intent on "absorbing" Earth. he's in communication with his adult children, who can only look on as he seemingly sacrifices himself to save the world.
Strange that this is Buck's final adventure as it shows his death, but if this 12 page preview is any indication of how this new series of this character will be, I'll definitely be reading it.
