I enjoyed the recent revamps of WACKY RACELAND and FLINTSTONES so much, not to mention the two FUTURE QUEST books, that I decided to pick up this anthology that features some new adaptations of Hanna Barbera characters as well as team-ups with DC superheroes.
The first tale has Booster Gold going back in time 20,000 years to Bedrock, where his ship crashes into some benevolent reptilian aliens, which has a disastrous consequence. Then, it's on to my favorite-and shortest, story in the book about the Jetsons and how they acquired Rosie the Robot. It puts an interesting spin on one of the familiar characters. The Space Ghost/Green Lantern team-up is a bore, primarily because I think Green Lantern is one of the lamest superheroes ever. But Adam Strange travelling to a lost land and encountering Johnny Quest and his family made me forget about this, as did the final story, which has the Banana Splits being forced to join the Suicide Squad! And it works!
Overall, this is an entertaining book, though I'd recommend picking up those other Hanna Barbera/DC graphic novels first, as they are better. Recommended.
