This is one of my favorite books from this past year. It incorporates the 25 year-old Topps Dinosaurs Attack! cards into a more substantial story. Professor Elias Thorne has created the Timescan device which will allow humanity to look into the past. It's mounted on the underside of an orbiting space station. Yet some people think this may be dangerous, including his ex-wife who used to also be his partner. And yes, things do go horribly awry after it's activated. Vicious dinosaurs begin appearing, ripping people to shreds--and behind it all may be a prehistoric malevolence. Or is Dr. Thorne really insane and it's all his fault? This all proceeds like an extremely gory version of the television show PRIMEVAL. Highly recommended. This would make a great movie!
