This one shot comic deals with the Dollhouse technology going viral and how that begins to affect the world. We're introduced to Maggie (portrayed in the series by Felicia Day). Two weeks after everyone goes nuts she and some survivors decide to go beyond their barricaded shelter and see the carnage. Only two of them make it and they meet Zone, another survivor who has a theory as to what caused all of this, that it's some type of military technology. There's also an appearance by villain "Alpha", who wants to create an army. There's no conclusion. Instead, it sets the table for a new DOLLHOUSE comic series beginning in July. Why they didn't just have this as the first issue of that, I have no idea. Seriously, if it's a one-shot it should have a complete story.
