I loved this four-issue comic series from Marvel's Epic Comics line when it came out in 1992. The story begins in the near future, 2033, where climate changed has made the world a rotting wasteland. Of course the military still exists and there are scientists who are trying to grow food in their hydroponic green house. There's also other experiments, such as one to produce energy and another one that deals with "Morlock 1", a time travel machine shaped like a giant sphere. When the facility is attacked by raiders from the outside wasteland, the surviving scientists and soldiers realize their only way of escape is to use the time travel device. It propels them back to the age of the dinosaurs. What's cool about this is that the dinosaurs are portrayed as colorful, warm-blooded creatures, not the green/gray behemoths we'd see in SKULL THE SLAYER or even Kubert's TOR. I could do without the typical army vs. scientist bickering but it is a decent time travel story. Recommended.
