A great summer read by thrillmaster Stephen King. Four successful, aging buddies meet at a secluded cabin in the snowy Maine woods and find themselves fighting off an alien invasion! While the story is nothing new, the twists and turns are fast and furious and the action is relentless. King's style has never been better, combining the best elements of his epic books like IT and THE STAND. He also pays homages to all the great sci-fi films we love like THE HIDDEN, THE THING, ALIEN, and many, many, more. The characters are three-dimensional and the stalking, body-switching Mr. Gray is an unforgettable villain. The explosive end battle to keep a major water source from being contaminated (very topical!) is a page-turner!
