Farscape Volume 1: The Beginning (2010)
Fiction Review by The Gravedigger

Farscape Volume 1: The Beginning (2010) The Beginning Of The End Of The Beginning

Aeryn Sun is still adjusting to having a son and doesn't know how to quite treat him. She's swearing constantly. Rygel gets a message from his homeworld that there's a group that wants to overthrow his cousin, the king, and restore him as the planet's ruler. So the majority of the story deals with Rygel's planet and the political situation there. Jothee (son of D'argo) and Chianna continue to have a tumultuous relationship. And Scorpio, the half-Sebacean/half Scarran makes an unexpected appearance.

This does feel like you're "watching" new episodes of the show and the best part is that it's uninhibited by budget constraints. The artwork portrays all the characters well, except for Jothee, who looked extremely different in the tv show. Here, he looks exactly like his recently deceased father.
