Author Rob Frisbee has that talent of being able to throw a zillion ideas at the reader, have them fit seemlessly together, and in doing so make them plausible to his audience. Here we have an X-FILES like conspiracy, an intelligent, self-aware computer, virtual reality, a four-billion year old alien experiment, a vice president on the run and armageddon looming on the horizon. The Seeders, an alien race very much like us, has been watching humanity develop-and doesn't like the end result. Mankind is too violent, too prone to rash actions. For two thousand years humanity's fate has been sealed. But some of the aliens think that it is wrong to judge-and try to save the planet. Frisbee knows his genre-in fact, because such names as 'Area 51' and Roswell are so ingrained in the alien mythos he runs with it, even so far as to giving a sly homage/spoof to X-Files' Cigarette Smoking Man. But this particular villain makes that one pale in comparison-and instead of cigarettes he chews tobacco with a little something extra (yuck!!) added to it. If you're interested in reading Frisbee's books this is definitely the one to start with. You won't be able to stop reading FILES ATTACHED.
