This graphic novel collects issues #1-10 of the series. It's a departure for the son of Zeus. His father has stripped him of his godly powers--but Herc still has a stash of magical weapon, which includes a shield with the head of Medusa. He finds himself in Brooklyn and rescues the owner of a Greek Restaurant from getting roughed up by one of Kingpin's men. The guy offers him a job--and he immediately hooks up with one of the waitresses, Rhea. After he sleeps with her he sees a tattoo she has--which is a tattoo of the gang the Warhawks, a gang he's been fighting. The Warhawks are being instigated by Kyknos, Son of Ares. He makes allies with Man-Bull and Griffin, former villains, and is generally welcomed by the community as a local hero. Kyknos causes lots of problems, such as transforming that part of the city into a jungle. There's also appearances by the X-Men, Spiderman and the Pantheon of Greek Gods. All in all, it's an entertaining read on the lighter side of the Marvel Universe.
