Having survived the awakening of a giant behemoth worshipped by the fishmen, Jana, aka Jungle Girl, her new friend, Mike, and faithful companion caveman Togg, now have to contend with the appearance of a UFO, which seems to be affecting the Lost Land. The UFO wants to free the Cthulhu-esque creature. Jana communicates with a hologram of her father, who has been at a mysterious temple since their airplane crashed years ago. She finds out why-he's been repaired by the alien technology and looks like something akin to the Creature from the Black Lagoon. He wants to save her but things don't turn out exactly how you think they would. I was surprised that this volume was only half as entertaining as the previous two graphic novels. Yes, the artwork is great it's not quite enough to compensate for the lack of story. Also, for some inexplicable reason she's wearing a black wetsuit, not her regular jungle garb, and there's a very vague ending that's really not even an ending. Eh.
