The newest graphic novel from Moonstone Comics has Karl Kolchak investigating why some people are exploding in a burst of blood and guts. The only thing in common is that the next victim had come directly in contact with the preceding person-and that they see their worst fears, a spider, a snake, et cetera, before the big kabaam. Kolchak traces it back to a scientist who was trying to cure ebola-and instead created a peculiar killer virus. As with Moonstone's other Kolchak stories this is in the spirit of the show and the stories are better than in the television series.
