Hudson is a theology student, on the cusp of becoming a priest. However, he wins the lottery, big-time. It's not a regular lottery--it's Hell's lottery. Only eleven people have been given this award by Satan an he's not sure if he should feel honored. Before he says "yes", and becomes one of Hell's honored elite--where his every wish will become a reality-- he must first agree to take a tour of Hell. Which is suitably nasty. His tour guide turns out to be H.P. Lovecraft, which I thought was amusing. Of course, things do not work out how he intends and he should have considered that Satan is known as "King of Lies". This fourth book in Ed Lee's series about Hell is not quite as good as CITY INFERNAL and INFERNAL ANGELC, but it's entertaining. Recommended.
