This graphic novel explains and gives background to the most recent MAD MAX film. The first story is about Nux and Immortan Joe and the next about the origins of Furiosa. It's pretty much what you'd think it be but emphasis how quick humanity has fallen back to a primitive state. Then, it's onto Max. We're given a quick recap of the events of the first three movies and takes place about a year before what happens in FURY ROAD. And believe it or not it's about as good as the movie. The final tale, THE WAR RIG, shows us where each piece of Furiosa's vehicle came from, dating back to when civilization first crumbled.
I can't recommend this enough if you're a fan of the MAD MAX movies. Highly recommended.
