This is a classic Robert McCammon book that's been screaming to be made into a film since it was originally released.A 60's deadhead named Mary Terror kidnaps Laura Clayborne's newborn baby from the hospital. Laura is a complex character having many problems, including a cheating husband.What follows is one of the best and most relentless chase books across America that has ever been penned. Laura will stop at nothing to get her baby back, risking life and limb to do so...There's also other people after Mary Terror as well, including some ex-law enforcement officials that want to give her some payback for what she did to them in the past.Superbly paced with characters that are as real as you can get, MINE is one of the best action/horror novels that you can read. The action scenes alone would send producer Joel Silver's head spinning! Pick up a copy today!
