This new comic presents a world that takes place in "present day", only if the age of the dinosaurs had never ended. The main character is Lilli Murko who is a hunter in the Predator Defense League, which protects their walled city from T-Rexes and the like. Trouble starts when she rescues a Talpid child from a horde out dinosaurs. Talpids are the wild people who live outside the walled city. But her brining the child into the city may have caused its destruction.
There's a lot going on with the various characters and the book has a feel and look of a Saturday Morning cartoon show, like THUNDAR or VALLEY OF THE DINOSAURS. Of course, to be nitpicky, I think they need to explain how humans and other mammals evolved with the dinos still around and also why there still seems to be various races of people. I don't think there'd be a lot of diversity if all the humans developed in one area.
