This prequel comic book series concentrates on two of the main characters from the new PREDATORS motion picture. The first deals with a group of soldiers who are whisked from a battle in the Middle East to the preserve planet, the single survivor amongst them encountering Nolan, who is dressed up like a Predator. A lot of the backstory is filled in, such as how he survived by eating some of the unappetizing local fauna, though he seems much more sane here than he does in the movie. The end of this story leads directly into a scene in the movie, where they find a dead soldier with a hole in his chest.
The second story is about the Adrian Brody's Royce character on a mercenary job in Africa. He's hired by the leader of an African country to get rid of the leader of the local freedom fighters. Although this story doesn't feature any aliens I thought it was the more interesting of the two since it added a bit more to the character.
