Written by Leah Moore & John Reppion Pencils by Hugo Petrus From Dynamite Comics RAISE THE DEAD takes the normal zombie scenario and creates a harrowing tale of a group of humans trying to survive. With them is also the scientist who may have a cure for the undead condition, as he looks to be a zombie but doesn't have the craving to eat human flesh. There's also a twist in that animals become reanimated as well, so there's a gory sequence in which two guys are attacked by dead lab mice and zombie primates. This isn't as character developing as THE WALKING DEAD and favors the gore and killing characters in gory, vibrant ways. As a zombie tale it's a good one. Read it?
