This six-issue comic series is the bridging story between CONQUEST and BATTLE FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES, explaining how Caesar comes into power and why, all of a sudden, those apes are able to talk. I won't give away the reason but I must say it's a good one, which fits with the mythology of the series. In the first several issue there's also excerpts from Caesar's diary, which I found more interesting than the action-oriented story. This new story in the saga of the PLANET OF THE APES is simply brilliant and I'm not just aping you on. I hope the company Mr Comics does more Ape adventures.
