This is an amusing one-shot comic from IMAGE comics, with a goofy premise. In the one-page origin tale of the two creatures, written by Robert Kirkman, it's explained how the land and sea were switched long ago on Earth and that confused some of the animals who weren't able to adapt to that change. Hence the weird critters. The first story concerns a group of fisherman whe encounter the Sea Bear, which is akin to this mythological creature. And it has lots of offspring, which is unexpected in the form they take. Then, the second story is about some hunters who encounter the land Shark. A father and son are attacked and the son bitten in half, though he still lives and cracks jokes about his 50% state of being, so there's definitely a RoadRunner/Wyle E. Coyote vibe to the tale.
If you're in the mood for some non-serious goofy fun then you'll like this book.
