I had a chance to read this Stephen King rarity, and it's a good book!Basically a compilation of many of King's nonfiction articles on writing, this tome is a must for any aspiring writers, horror or otherwise. (And if you're a Stephen King fanatic, the need for this one goes without saying!)King reveals defining moments from his childhood all the way through the horrible accident he was in a few years back. He gives us his inner thoughts, inspirations, and why he writes what he does. Wanna know what makes a best-selling writer tick? Read this book.King also takes us through the process of getting down your story and editing it, with an excellent sample (that later became a part of his EVERYTHING'S EVENTUAL anthology!). There's no better teacher for this kind of thing than the one found in these very pages.Stephen King is down to earth and very candid in this book about writing. Check it out, enjoy, learn, and try out the writing exercise he gives you in the book! You'll be sure to grow as a writer.Keep those pencils sharpened---you'll wanna take notes while reading this one!
