This second collection from Dark Horse comics first has the Robinson family landing on a planet where they are put in a cage by ant-like aliens. It's here they befriend a small yellow alien, who helps them escape. The two different aliens battle each other in their ships-the ant aliens have saucers, the yellow ones have tubular shaped craft. In the second story their ship is running low on Selenium, which they need to power the ship, so the mother and father go in search of the ore on a nearby planet. Unfortunately the planet is infested with carnivorous plants with eyeballs. Again, they befriend a small species of alien and manage to escape. Next, they are captured by evil green aliens, let by Kregar, who try to brainwash the twins Tim and Tam. He wants to live forever and needs energy-and slaves-to obtain this. There are also adventures with bat-like aliens, an encounter with some lost humans from Earth and the father gets rapidly aged, though he manages to return to normal. Basically, in each story there's an evil alien and either one of the twins is in danger or the parents are-and good aliens come along to help them. The stories, from 1964-65 are along the lines of the first volume.
