Begins with a new owner of the Daily Planet, Morgan Edge, who has razed down the old, historic building. Reporter Clark Kent is not happy about this at all. There's also the appearance of a fire alien and it makes it seem as if Superman is responsible for the death of a bunch of robbers. I found this to be a downer. Superman is not a happy camper--and there's never been a relationship between him and Lois Lane. In fact, he comes across her and and a guy, when he goes to her apartment. This "new" Superman doesn't grab me. The angst is more appropriate to Batman.
