Author: Aaron AllstonThis follow-up to TERMINATOR DREAMS continues the story of John Connor and his wife, Kate Brewster in 2029 A.D, taking place after the events of the movie TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES.One of the human resistance fighters, Paul Keeley, was thought to be dead over a year ago. But he awakens in a 20th Century looking hospital and wanders out, right into the middle of a human/terminator battle. Skynet had been using him as a training device for Terminatrix to learn how to behave more human. Once she learns everything she'll be transported back into the past, to presumably put a pre-emptive strike against the Resistance before they form. They put an implant in Keeley's skull-and the recreation of the 20th Century along with information put into his mind by Skynet, makes him believe he's living in the 20th Century. Once he realizes all of this was a cyberdream he tries to redeem himself, as he thinks everyone views him as a traitor. John Connor uses himself as bait to capture this Terminatrix-a plan that is extremely dangerous.Allston's sequels are a good continuation of the last movie, introducing new characters and situations to make it more interesting. If you're a fan of the TERMINATOR movies then you'll enjoy these books.
