This graphic novel adapts four of the Universal Movie Horror Classics, THE MUMMY, FRANKENSTEIN, DRACULA and CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. The best is THE MUMMY, perhaps because I dug DARK RESURRECTION so much earlier this year, and my least favorite THE CREATURE, as it is too "cartoony" and brightly colored. It contrasts too much with the painting-like art of the others. Still, if you're a fan of the classics this is worth checking out.
