The premise of this new comic series is great and the execution is good. "Necronites" are developed to help fight the battle in the Middle East. They are fired to a location in empty missile tubes during the night and when daylight comes they are designed to burn up, like vampires. However, there is one zombie that this doesn't happen to, a zombie which may have some residual memory of who he was. A colonel Drake is brought in to extract him and what convinces him to go along with this is that the zombie is headed to a town where his former girlfriend (and his child) live.
Although there's a shitload of zombie comics lately this one manages to be different and interesting. ZMD is worth checking out.
