I always thought this was one of Marvel's most underrated horror characters, Simon Garth, who was a real zombie, brought about by voodoo. This comic mini-series "re-imaging" of him undoes that and basically makes him another creature created from some government experiment. But he's not a rampaging creature, has somehow kept his mind, but he is able to spread the contagion of zombie. The story involves another outbreak, continued from the first series, THE ZOMBIE, and a woman and her daughter being chased down by her ex, who wants to kill her. The little girl gets separated and hangs out with Simon until she's reunited with her mother. I really wanted more from this series, which took an interesting character and made him more mundane.
