Movie Quote(s):
- Janet: Ted, you know you're always welcome here. Here's what you're going to do. You're going to park your Airstream in my backyard, and you're going to live out of my fridge.
-
Janet: [to Ted, when the dog Thor is reluctant to approach him] What did you do, spit in his Alpo?
-
Uncle Ted: [to Brett, who is sulking because his dog Thor was sent to the pound] Come here. [when Brett reluctantly comes to sit on his lap, Ted says with evil irony:] Uncle Ted: There'll be other animals in your life.

Movie Trivia:
- In the scene in which Janet makes breakfast, her son Brett is watching Werewolf of London (1935) on the television, and he and his Uncle Ted argue about werewolf lore. Actually, the lore that Brett argues that "everyone knows about", such as details about silver bullets and wolfsbane, comes from The Wolf Man (1941), which Curt Siodmak totally made up.
-
A few seconds of sex and gore was cut from the opening scene in oder to avoid an NC-17.
