More Movie Taglines:
  • From the depths of the earth. To the edge of existence... The hunt is on!
  • The world we know has been changed. Not by man, but by nature itself.
  • A science-fiction spectacular!
Movie Quote(s):
  • [first lines] Will Tasker: It's over! It's finished! End of chase!
  • Will Tasker: [as plane banks to try to go over some high mountains] We're gonna make it! We're gonna make it! [the plane hits the mountainside and explodes]
Movie Trivia:
  • The aircraft Hamill's character is flying is a BROOKLAND AEROSPACE OPTICA OA7
  • Byron's line "I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth - put out my hand and touched the Face of God," is taken from the poem High Flight by John Gillespie Magee, Jr., a British-American aviator who died in a mid-air collision during WWII. On his grave is inscribed the first and last lines from his poem. This line is a direct allusion to that poem and befitting the film's predominant theme of aviation.
  • Never given a cinema release in the USA.
  • The first film that Mark Hamill worked with Producer 'Gary Kurtz' since Star Wars. He did not produce Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) as he was replaced by 'Howard Kazanjian' after a falling out between Kurtz and George Lucas after Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980).
  • Also known as the film that put producer 'Gary Kurtz' in bankruptcy due to it's failure and lack of distribution in the U.S.
