Movie Trivia:

The alien creature had almost translucent skin in an earlier conceptual design.
Stilts were used to make the alien appear extremely tall.
Aluminum foil was used for the walls of the air vent for the sequence in which Charlie gets attacked by the creature in said vent.
The canine Foxy was played by two police dogs.
