October 2007 - It's that time of the year again kiddies... that time when the ghouls and goblins come out to play and the Haunted Houses paint the landscape blood red. That's right... it is the Halloween season. Anyone who doesn't love this time of the year should have their head examined... and one of our untrained staff of heavy-handed surgeons would be happy to help. Hope you have insurance.
I, The Cryptkeeper (your master of scar-e-monies), and The Undertaker recently took a tour of a local horror hospital... where disease and gore are running rampant. Our anticipation could hardly be contained... much like the Outbreak at Possum Creek.
We were promptly greeted by the nursing staff of Possum Creek to try to prepare us for what we were about to see. Our guide led us single-file past the nursing station and into a dark nightmare of epidemic proportion. Even grizzled veterans like ourselves could not believe the level of service being rendered to the unfortunate, disease-ridden patients of Possum Creek. From shock-therapy to questionable medical experimentation... this hospital of horrors truly puts the "pit" in hospitality.
We do not want to give away too much of the gruesome going's on here... that is something that you need to experience yourself... if you dare. The medical school dropout guide did a great job of helping us weave our way through the maze of malfeasance that each room of this hospice had to offer. The rooms were unusually dark, but I guess it is difficult to keep up with the electric bills with the amount of malpractice suits sure to be pending on this establishment. If were not for the nurse bringing up the rear of the tour... we may have not made it out of this place alive.
The scares were abundant throughout the Haunt... with visually disturbing imagery and loud noises emanating from every corner. Some of the dark rooms made it impossible to see... but really allowed our other senses to come alive and feed our fears. This is one of the best Haunted Houses we have been to in quite a while... and we recommend that you take the tour.
