February 2011 - The Haunting In Connecticut
Yo, buried.com readers! OMV (OH MY VAMPIRE)! I was tryin' to find a flick that would stimulate my brain and not my blood, so my friend Lucy recommended THE HAUNTING IN CONNECTICUT. Honestly, this movie was definitely smart, scary and maybe even a lil too sophisticated for my racy taste! :) I mean, it was pretty perfect from production to direction to acting to FX...nothing gratuitous here. Bummer! :) The cast of super talented actors includes, the beautiful Virginia Madsen, the young horror star Kyle Gallner and the seasoned Martin Donovan and Elias Koteas. Awesome direction by Peter Cornwell and written by Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe. It's got a lil flavor of some old school faves like Amityville Horror and The Exorcist...you know the movies they made before Vampires got smokin' hot!
