John Cusack gives a bravura performance as a writer who goes to investigate a haunted hotel room. The problem is that the first half of the movie is much better than the second half because there's a good 50% you know what's going to happen. And to tell you the truth, I'm soooooo sick of seeing Stephen King stories about authors. If you're a die-hard King fan you'll enjoy this, otherwise there's no rush to see it unless you've exhausted the other recent horror releases out there. » Search Database for 1408 (2007) Seen it?
