300 is by far the best sword & sandal flick I have ever seen! Forget Gladiator and Troy, this is the shit right here. I liked the stylized action and cinematography way better than anything else I have seen lately. The gore, the breasts, the narration everything about this film screams awesome. You gotta see it. No reason not too. I never read the Frank Miller comic limited series, so how close it goes with it, I don't know or care really. Of course it's not historically correct either, could care less about that too, it's more or less in the ballpark. What matters is that 300 is fun and entertaining and looks and feels like nothing else I've seen. This movie has some great FX and gory fights not to be missed. I don't wanna elaborate too much on specific nastys, but trust me, this blows most horror flicks away for blood and ickyness! Prolly break the world record on speared bodies too. A must see and must own when the DVD comes out.
