John Bowker's sequel to his well-received EVILMAKER delivers the goods. It builds upon the first movie, has some genuinely creepy moments, and the gruesome effects work extremely well. The sister of Rachel character (Felicia Pandolfi) in the first film, played by newcomer Kylene Wetherell, investigates her sister's disappearance. The only survivor from the first film was the Stephanie Beaton character, who committed suicide in a mental institution, and all the other people simply disappeared (though the sister finds a skull buried nearby). Once at the old house strange things start to happen and the evil resurfaces, possessing many people along the way, including Wetherell's boyfriend, who attacks her. The movie is edited well, particularly the handling of the flashback scenes, and the ending leaves the movie wide open for a third installment in the trilogy. Recommended.
