This is one grueling film, sort of a homage to Herschell Gordon Lewis splatter movies. An insane serial killer is knocking off prostitutes and stealing their body parts. He supplies a Mexican run organ harvesting organization, which provides new organs to those who have the $$ to pay for them. The leader of this place is deluded into thinking that he's a 'Good Guy', that he's saved hundreds of lives. The film's title refers to how the killer disposes of the women's bodies-he dissolves them in a bath tub with acid. These scenes are incredibly gory, particularly the one at the finale, and actually made me cringe. Damn, what a way to go... The prostitutes are getting no help from the local police so they hire an equally insane bounty hunter to stop the killer. Then things don't go quite how they are supposed to...Although some of the acting is a bit stilted and not exactly Academy Award winning performances, ACID BATH makes up for it with an interesting story, quirky characters and tubs full of gore.Written and directed by Lou Garcia and Annette Martinez, who also portray some of the characters.Check out www.wrpix.com for more info
