We managed to get our hands on this one before it hit the shelves, so why not review it along with the rest. Blood Lust is the third in the 'Addicted' series, but almost did not feel like the same series in some respects. Kevin Lindenmuth and Tom Vollman collaborated to create this one, and did a good job..but it concentrated less on the main characters and set the stage for most of the movie in a prison, a prison where a vampire is running rough-shot over everyone and can come and go as he pleases. Turns out, a prison is a good hideout from vampire hunters. Even with the obvious lack of the central characters from the first two films, it still packs a punch. It is easy to get caught up in the whole prison storyline, so much that at times you forget about Joel, who has turned to a life of ridding the world of vampires. Very little gore, but more special effects keep this one visually entertaining and the acting is still better than the budget. If you liked the first two, I think you will like this one. Even though it strays somewhat from the original storyline, it still has all of the same elements. Get this when it comes to a store near you.
