In England a pharmaceutical company is producing a fertility drug called Maternox, which is making some women have horribly deformed cyclops bablies. Both the mother and the children die in childbirth. One of the doctors has a friend whose wife just died and she tries to find out what's going on. With the help of a fellow employee they find out there's a conspiracy by the company to spread a new manmade disease which will make humanity dependent on them for producing the cure, which they've already made.
