This extremely entertaining futuristic adventure is sort of like XENA meets HELL COMES TO FROGTOWN (and I mean that in a good way), with J.J. Rodgers in the Roddy Piper role. Tara (Rodgers) is a mercenary in a future world ruled by savagery and violence, the sole survivor of an Amazon tribe that was destroyed years before. Although she sells her fighting skills to the highest bidder she continues to search for her tribe's killer, an evil guy named General Steiner. Basically a quest and revenge movie, the witty, sarcastic script and superb performances by all the leads make for an enjoyable hour and a half. If you're a fan of HERCULES or XENA you will love this movie. And I'm convinced JJ Rodgers should have her own series! Available from CINEMATRIX RELEASING.
